Law enforcement members have recovered the bodies of two men from inside a private car parked in the basement of Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital in the capital’s Malibagh area.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s (DMP) Ramna Division Deputy Commissioner (DC) Masud Alam confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Monday (August 11).

Of the deceased, one has been identified as Zakir Hossain, the driver of the car, and the other as Mizan.

DC Masud Alam said the bodies were found inside the vehicle, which was parked in the hospital basement. The owner of the car has been located, and their names were obtained from him. 

“We are investigating how they died,” he added.
