Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Bangladesh Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus held a bilateral meeting in Putrajaya this morning.
Earlier, Prime Minister Anwar formally received Prof Yunus upon his arrival at the Prime Minister’s Office. The two leaders exchanged greetings and posed for photographs before commencing the talks.
As part of the welcome ceremony, Chief Adviser Prof Yunus inspected a parade while the national anthems of both countries were played, Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder said.
Prof Yunus arrived in Malaysia on Monday for a three-day state visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
