The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by temporary gusty winds at several places across the country over the next 24 hours, starting from 9:00am today.
According to a BMD bulletin, “Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, with moderately heavy falls at places over the country.”
The department added that day and night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged during this period.
The highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 34.3°C in Rajshahi, while the lowest temperature of 22.5°C was recorded in Bandarban today. Madaripur reported the highest rainfall of 81mm over the past 24 hours.
In Dhaka, the sun is expected to set at 5:39pm today and rise at 5:53am tomorrow.
