Pass percentage decreases in Ctg Board

DHAKA: The pass percentage in Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations in the Chittagong Education Board has decreased than last year.

However, the number of GPA-5 scorers has increased.

Female students were ahead this year in showing success.

Besides, the students of Commerce group have done better than the Science and Humanities group.

Some 42,976 students appeared for the examinations while 31,224 came out successfully.

The pass percentage this year was 72.65 while the last year it showed 76.31.

A total of 1,618 students achieved top GPA-5 grade which was 1,448 last year.
