DHAKA: Chief Naval Staff Vice Admiral ZU Ahmed Thursday said that a new era has started in the hydrographic survey activities of maritime boundary through induction of the international standard hydrographic survey ship in Bangladesh.

He also hoped that BNS “Anushandhan’ will play an important role in ensuring maritime boundary delimitation and in collecting authentic and international standard hydrographic data to establish Bangladesh’s right in the continental shelf.

Ahmed visited the hydrographic survey ship BNS “ANUSHANDHAN’ on Thursday.
