DHAKA: A Dhaka Court on Wednesday accepted charge against Mahmdudur Rahman, the detained acting editor of the daily Amar Desh, in a corruption case filed for not submitting wealth statement to the ACC.

Acting Metropolitan Sessions Judge Ismail Hossain passed the order and fixed September 8 for hearing of the charge framing against him.

Advocate Masud Ahmed Talukder stood for Mahmudur Rahman while Advocate Mosharraf Hossain Shahjahan, lawyer of Anti Corruption Commission, for the state side during hearing.
