DHAKA: In a rare reciprocity between the two political archrivals, Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Khaleda Zia Monday invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to her iftar party on August 17.

Khaleda’s PS Saleh Ahmed and APS Suratuzzaman handed over the invitation letter to Selina Begum, PM’s personal secretary-2, on Monday noon.

Earlier on Sunday, Hasina invited the BNP chairperson and ex-PM, Khaleda Zia, to her iftar party to be held on the 5th of Ramadan.

The BNP chairperson will personally arrange three iftar parties during Ramadan.
