BRAHMANBARIA: A man killed his cousin over family feud at Birgaon village of Nabinagar of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mainuddin Mia, 25, son of Taher Mia, a worker of a Barber shop.
 
Birgaon Union Chairman Kabir Ahamed told banglanews, “Ibrahim Mia was beating his wife over family feud at around 6:00am and his cousin Mainuddin went to protest the cruelty.”

At one stage, Ibrahim stabbed Mainuddin with a sharp knife, leaving him critically injured.

Later, Mainuddin died on the way to District Sadar Hospital.

Confirming the matter, Nabinagar police station Officer-in-Charge Abu Jafar told banglanews, “The body was sent to Sadar Hospital for autopsy.”
