Mufti Wakkash arrested

DHAKA: Detective Branch police arrested Jamiote Ulamay-e-Islam Ameer and Islami Ain Bastobaiyon Committee Secretary General Mufti Wakkash.

He was arrested from Malibagh Chowdhurypara in the capital around 2:30pm on Monday.

DMP Media Centre Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Police arrested him to quiz in a case filed with Shahbagh Thana over the incident of Hefajat-e-Islam on August 5.
