Obaidul apologies for sufferings of home-bound people

DHAKA: Communications Minister Obaidul Qader on Sunday expressed sorrow to home-bound people watching sufferings of them on way during Eid-ul-Azha.

The senior leader of ruling Awami League came up with the assertion while visiting a bus terminal at Gabtali in capital.

Obaidul Quader said, “Though we tried our best but people are still suffering a lot and I apologize for that.”

He also said, “All the garments will be closed Monday. Besides, government employees will start to leave the city that’s why we have kept additional 60 buses stand by to face the extra pressure.”
