DHAKA: Around 11-kg gold was seized from a flight Emirates Airlines at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday evening.

Customs authorities of the airport seized the huge amount gold—104 pieces gold bars--from the flight come from Dubai.

Airport customs assistant commissioner Sanjida confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Acting on a tip-off, customs detective officers seized the huge amount of gold and detained passenger Masud, she added.
