BSF abducts BD man in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) abducted a Bangladeshi cattle trader from Munshipur frontier under Damurhuda Upazila of the district earlier Wednesday.

The victim- Miazan, 24, is a cattle trader, son of Fakir Miazi of the district.

Sources said Miazan along with four to five people went to the frontier to bring cattle. Madhupur camp BSF personnel abducted Miazan from pillar no. 92/5 while they were returning home at around 3:30am. However, other people managed to flee the scene.

Confirming the matter, Chuadanga BGB-6 deputy commander Major Mehedi Hasan told banglanews, “We heard that Indian Madhupur Camp BSF-113 personnel abducted a Bangladesh national and a letter was sent to BSF seeking a flag meeting to get back him.”
