THAKURGAON: Two devotees were killed as lighting struck them in Paria village of Baliadanga upazila of the district on Friday noon.

The deceased were identified as Abul Hossain, 25 and Hasmat Uddin, 105.

Witnesses said that they were returning home after saying Jumma prayer. On the way, it was raining and at on stage lightning struck them, leaving them dead on the spot.
