DHAKA: A cocktail blasted at a house of Fakirerpool area in city on Wednesday night.

Witnesses said a huge number of explosions were kept in a room of the house and a cocktail blasted around 08:30pm.

Later, on information, police rushed to the spot and cordoned the area.

Sub-Inspector of Motijheel Thana Sabuj Ali told banglanews: “No causalities were reported in the incident.”

A bomb disposal unit of Metropolitan Detective Branch of Police visited the area, he added.
