DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, called BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia over phone to urge for holding dialogue in resolving ongoing political deadlock.

But she failed to talk to Khaleda Zia despite several attempts as the opposition leader of the parliament did not receive the phone calls.
