CHITTAGONG: Miscreants blasted cocktails near the residence of Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong on Tuesday night.

Sources said that miscreants blasted cocktails and fled the scene while the deputy commissioner was holding a meeting to two additional deputy commissioners in the office at around 11:30pm.

On information, a police team of Kotwali police station visited the spot.

Confirming the matter Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Abdul Mannan told banglanews that police administration would be informed to beef up security at his residence.”
