DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday said opposition BNP chairperson “Khaleda Zia is eating chicken soup in her room by calling hartal and blockade”.

The premier, also Awami League president, made the remark while addressing rally at Rabindra Saroni of Uttara Azampur, the North part of capital Dhaka in the afternoon.

Hasina said, “She (Khaleda) is eating chicken soup and roast by calling hartal and blockade. Leaders were not seen in the street. People will tackle those who are creating sabotage in the name of movement.”

Khaleda Zia, Hasina said Khaleda would be the charged in murder case as she directed party-men to kill innocent people.  

She urged the countrymen to cast their valuable vote on January 5 parliamentary polls.
