DHAKA: The High Court on Thursday ordered police not to nab or harass BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir until submission of reports in three cases filed with Ramna and Shahbagh Thanas against him.

In presence of Mirza Fakhrul, an HC bench comprising Justice Borhan Uddin and KM Quamrul Kader passed the order.

Former attorney general AJ Mohammad Ali and Advocate Joynul Abedin moved for Mirza Fakhrul while deputy attorney general M Selim and assistant attorney general Aminur Rahman Chowdhury Tipu moved for the state.
