NILPHAMARI: Police recovered the body of BNP leader, also key suspect of attack on Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor’s motorcade.

The deceased was identified as Golam Rabbani, 35, Lakshmi Chap Union BNP Organizing Secretary, son of Mazibar Rahman.

Palashbari Union Parsad Chairman Tapan Kumar Roy said that seeing the body locals informed police at around 09:30am.

Later, on information police recovered the body from the spot.

Nilphamari Sadar Thana Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Babul Aktar confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on December 14, some four people were killed as wacky 18-party activists attacked the motorcade of Asaduzzaman Noor and the BNP leader Golam Rabbani was wanted in the case.
