NILPHAMARY: BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir categorically said Awami League has been holding the state power in a wicked way of muscle and gun.    

The BNP leader made the allegation while addressing a discussion at district’s BNP office in Municipality Bazar area on Friday.        

Mirza Fakhrul said, “There is no example throughout the country autocratic government sustained for long, so we all know about the future of the incumbent government.”

He also urged countrymen to unite against such conspiracy against the democratic triumph of Bangladesh and demanded immediate polls under neutral caretaker government.

District level senior BNP leaders also attended the discussion.
