DHAKA: The 19-party alliance was not given permission to stage their pre-scheduled black flag procession in the city on Wednesday.

BNP International Affairs Secretary Asaduzzaman Ripon told banglanews that we would wait till 2:00pm to get permission of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) for staging the procession.

He said that for the sake of security BNP selected Nayapaltan and Suhrawardy Udyan. If DMP doesn’t give permission by the scheduled time, the black flag procession will be brought out across the country according to previous declaration.

Earlier on last Wednesday, BNP sought permission to DMP for the program.
