DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Sunday sent BNP Joint Secretary General Amanullah Aman to jail in four cases filed with Keraniganj thana.

Earlier in the morning, he surrendered to Chief Judicial Magistrate court and sought bail.

Rejecting his bail plea, Senior Judicial Magistrate Taiyebul Hasan ordered to send him jail.

Additional Public Prosecutor Anwarul Kabir Babul confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On November, the cases were filed against him for his alleged involvement in subversive activities including cocktail explosion and vehicle vandalism.

As those are non-bailable offence so the court rejected the bail plea, he added.
