SYLHET: Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Sunday claimed that Jamaat-e-Islami is involved with the snatching of Jamaa’t-ul-Mujahideen (JMB) members at Trishal upazila of Mymensingh district.   

The finance minister came up with the allegation in response to a query of journalists after visiting Sylhet divisional stadium in the noon.

AMA Muhith said: “Jamaat is not a political party rather it is a terrorist outfit. It snatched the JMB members by attacking police personnel.”

He, however, expressed his satisfaction over the works of the stadium to organize T-20 World Cup cricket scheduled to be started from March 16.
