NOAKHALI: The Election Commission has postponed the voting in all centers of Sadar upazila parisad elections on charges of occupying poling centers and vote manipulation Thursday.

In an emergency meeting at the secretariat of EC at the noon, the EC took the decision of postponement of voting and later announced it.

The EC secretariat source confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Besides, BNP candidates in Companiganj and Kabirhat upazila boycotted the elections and later respective upazila unit BNP called dawn-to-dusk hartal for Friday in the upazilas
