The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) continued its third day of talks today with the National Consensus Commission at the National Assembly’s LD Hall, starting at 11:10 am.
A four-member BNP delegation, led by Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed, is participating.
The discussions focus on key national issues including governance, judiciary, electoral reforms, and constitutional changes.
The talks, presided over by Commission Vice President Prof. Ali Riaz, follow earlier sessions on Thursday and Sunday.
Formed after the fall of the Awami League government, the National Consensus Commission—part of an interim government initiative—has been engaging 39 political parties to build consensus on reform recommendations from five commissions.
BNP's current session is part of the third phase of these discussions.
