DHAKA: The leaders of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) are set to meet BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday night.

Party sources said that the meeting will be held at 8:00pm at the BNP Chairperson’s office at Gulshan in city. 

Earlier, the BNP-Jamaat backed Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya (Blue Panel) swept the elections to the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) for tenure of 2014-15 by bagging 13 posts out of 14, including president and general secretary.

Advisor to BNP Chairperson Khandakar Mahbub Hossain was elected as a president, who got 1,589 votes and BNP Joint Secretary General Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon was elected as general secretary, who got 1,626 votes.

On the other hand, the rulling Awami League-backed Sammilita Ainjibi Samannay Parisad (white panel) secured only one post.
