BANDARBAN: BNP National Executive Committee Indigenous Affairs Secretary Ma Maaa Chakma has been expelled on charge of violating party discipline.

A press release signed by BNP joint-secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday said that the leader was expelled from the party for his activities which go against the party interest.

Confirming the matter, district BNP Joint Secretary Mujibur Rashid and district Chhatra Dal Joint general secretary Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal) told banglanews, “The strict decision taken by the party was time worthy.

Following the matter, the wife of the BNP leader said that they did not get any letter from the party regarding the matter.
