The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold an emergency press conference this afternoon to address the country’s ongoing political situation.

The briefing will take place at 1 pm at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan of the capital, BNP Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu confirmed.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is expected to speak at the press conference.

Earlier on Monday, the party also held an emergency press conference on the same issue.
