DHAKA: The delegation of the European Parliament (EP) will meet Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday evening.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Khaleda’s media wing member Shairul Kabir said “The meeting will be held at her Gulshan political office of the city.”

“Australian High Commissioner to Dhaka Greg Wilcock will meet at her Gulshan residence at 4:00pm Tuesday” Shairul added.

The EP delegations, led by Chairperson of the Delegation for relations with South Asia Jean Lambert, are set to arrive here at Dhaka Monday.

During their two-day official visit,  the delegation will meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and representatives of civil society.

The delegation will discuss the post-election situations and many other aspects of the country.
