COMILLA: A defamation case was filed with chief judicial magistrate court in Comilla against Senior Vice Chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman.

Former vice-president of Comilla Victoria College unit Chhatra League Advocate Ziaul Hasan Chowdhury Sohag filed the lawsuit for Tarique’s claim of Ziaur Rahman as country’s first president.

Sohag told banglanews, “I have filed the case for Tarique’s distorting the history by claiming Ziaur Rahman as country’s first president.”
