DHAKA: BNP Standing Committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia commented that charges were framed against party chairperson Khaleda Zia and her son Tarique Rahman violating the provision of law.

He was addressing a human chain demonstration demanding cancellation of indictment order against them and release of leaders, organized by Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal around 11:00am.

With Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal president Nure-ara-Safa in the chair, leaders-activists of Dhaka city unit BNP and Mohila Dal joined the programme.
