Hasina grabs power forcibly: Dudu

DHAKA: Shamsuzzaman Dudu, advisor to the BNP chairperson, on Thursday categorically said Sheikh Hasina seized power coercively.

The BNP leader came up with the assertion in a rally, arranged by Swechhasebok Dal protesting ‘baseless propaganda of Awami League against Tarique Rahman’, at the National Press Club in the afternoon.

Indicating Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he also said, “One day people will chase you for looting crores of money. You also have to answer for kidnapping and missing of innumerable people including Ilias Ali.”

He also slammed Industries Minister Tofail Ahmed for his slanderous comments against Senior Vice Chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman.

With Swechhasebok Dal President Muhammad Munir Hossain in the chair, the function was, also addressed, among others, by Advocate Rafiqul Islam Mia, Jubo Dal President Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and acting president of Chhatra Dal Bajlul Karim Abed.
