RU: Two Chhatra League activists have lost wrist and leg in an attack by Chhatra Shibir men of Rajshahi University (RU) on Tuesday morning.                                   

The injured are Tagar M Saleh, student affairs secretary of RU unit Chhatra League and activist Masud Hossain. The duo is resident student of Madar Baksh Hall.                                               

Witnesses said that some Shibir activists attacked Tagar and Masud and chopped mercilessly when they were passing a road nearby Habibur Rahman Hall around 8:00am.       

Shibir men cut Tagar’s right wrist and Masud’s right leg from knee.           

The injured were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in critical condition where the duo now in operation theatre.

RU Chhatra League president Mizanur Rahman Rana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
