DHAKA: A Dhaka Court Tuesday deferred the hearing on charge framing against BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir Tuesday in two separate cases file with Paltan and Shahjahanpur Thana. 

Metropolitan Magistrate Tarek Mainul Islam Bhuiyan fixed June 8 when hearing was not held as case documents were not produced before the court.

Confirming the matter, his lawyer Sanaullah Mia told banglanews, “Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir appeared before the court, but the hearing was not held and the court fixed June 8 for next hearing.” 

The lawyer also said that the charge framing hearing was scheduled to be held on Tuesday in the cases filed with the cases.

Earlier on March, last year, the cases were filed against him for creating panic on roads and obstacle in vehicles services.
