Khaleda issues red alert

DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia issued organizational red alert asking party activists to take stern stance against any action from law enforcers and government party people.

She issued the alert when addressing a rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on Thursday afternoon.

BNP front organization Sramilk Dal organized the rally on the occasion of historic May Day.

Khaleda Zia announced that she herself is being involved with the movement against government for sake of security to the countrymen.

She said: “Organizational red alert was issued, all will remain prepared, seize those, if anyone come to you to disappear, be they RAB or Police, you will keep hostage and then hand over them to the law enforcing agencies.”

Thousands of activists of the party and its allies gathered at the venue with banners and party flags.
