RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY: Two separate cases were filed with Motihar Thana against 32 Chhatra Shibir men including Rajshahi University (RU) unit president brining allegation of attack on two Chhatra League men.     

RU Chhatra League vice-president Atiqur Rahman lodged the cases on Saturday evening.      

Motihar Thana officer-in-charge Alamgir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.            

On last Tuesday morning, two Chhatra League activists have lost wrist and leg in an attack by Chhatra Shibir men of the university.

The injured are Tagar M Saleh, student affairs secretary of RU unit Chhatra League and activist Masud Hossain. The duo is resident student of Madar Baksh Hall.                                                 

Shibir activists attacked Tagar and Masud and chopped mercilessly when they were passing a road nearby Habibur Rahman Hall around 8:00am on that day.          

Shibir men cut Tagar’s right wrist and Masud’s right leg from knee.
