BNP starts diplomatic move again

DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) leaders held a meeting with delegation of National Democratic Institute (NDI), a development organization.

The meeting was held at a restaurant in Gulshan on Monday where Senior Election Advisor Neil Nevitte, Senior Resident Director of BD Rishi Dutta, among others, joined the meeting on behalf of the NDI.

Besides, acting secretary general of BNP Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and adviser to the BNP chairperson Sabih Uddin Ahmed were among others present at the meeting.

Attending the meeting, after a long time break of January 5 election BNP resumed their diplomatic move.

To stop the 10th Parliamentary election BNP attended several meetings with foreign diplomats who worked in Bangladesh. But their mission failed and disappointed them.

As the process of dialogue for next election came in light BNP restarted their activities.

Though, the issues of discussion didn’t reveal yet but dialogue between the Awami League and BNP for interim election got importance.
