Govt feared on BNP’s call for movement

DHAKA: BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has said that the government is in fear and went crazy over the BNP called for staging anti-movement after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Speaking at a press briefing at BNP’s Nayapaltan headquarters on Friday, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said the government is feared over BNP’s call for enforcing movement after Eid. So, law enforcers are raiding opposition leaders’ houses and arresting them.

He also said “We must win in the movement”.

The government has demolished the democracy of the country for their own sake, he added.

Rizvi demanded release of the leaders and activists of the party shortly.

He criticized the issuance of death threat to BNP chief Khaleda Zia saying that this is a preplanned conspiracy.

A good number of BNP leaders were also present in the meeting to show their solidarity.
