FROM JOY’S CONVOY: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, reached his native village Pirganj in Rangpur district to address some programs there.

He reached in Fatehpur village around 12:15p.

Earlier, Joy left Dhaka around 6:20am on Saturday for Rangpur district on a one-day tour.

Joy is scheduled to inaugurate a new power connection to 3,000 consumers in 50-village of Pirganj Upazila. Later, he will address jute farmers’ rally. 

Besides, he will inaugurate Wi-Fi connection in some schools and colleges of the upazila. 

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, Post & telecommunications and Information & communication technology affairs minister Abdul Latif Siddique, State Minister for Rural Development and Cooperatives Mashiur Rahman Ranga and others accompanied with Joy in the tour to Rangpur.
