DHAKA: Disaster Management and Relief minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya on Sunday said Dhaka City unit Awami League will announce all of its Ward and Thana-level committee after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Maya, also general secretary of the city unit, came up with the announcement at an extended meeting of AL at the party’s head office on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city.

He told the party leaders and activists: “Council has been held at every thana and ward amid festivity. Hopefully, you will observe the month of mourn—August--with due respect.”

Presided over by, city AL unit acting president MA Aziz, Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam, city unit vice president Mukul Chowdhury, organizing secretary Shahe Alam Murad and office secretary Sahidul Islam also spoke.
