DHAKA: Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Sunday said the objective of government is take the country forward and it has no time to think about the movement of BNP.

The AL leader was addressing a discussion meeting organized by Dhaka South City Corporation Sramik League at the auditorium of the city corporation office.

He said, “Issuing threats to oust the government by BNP is only the effort to revive the party (activists), they (BNP) are giving threats to reinvigorate the inactive party.”

Criticizing BNP, he said, “BNP cannot tolerate government’s successes to hide their limitless failures. They want to undermine government’s achievement by faking lie about the victory over maritime boundary.”

Sramik League central and city leaders attended the discussion which was followed by an iftar party.
