KHAGRACHHARI: Army personnel detained two activists of United People’s Democratic Front (UPDF) with arms in Dullatali village of Laxmichhari upazila on Wednesday.

The detainees are Hilau Marma, 40, of Dullatali and Rupon Chakmam 24, of Nanachhar village of the upazila.

Sources of the army said, “Senescing the UPFD men’s presence, a patrol team raided the village, detained the duo and seized a three knot three rifle, a LG and 12 round of bullets from their possession.”

Laxmichhari Thana Officer-In-Charge Ratan Das Gupta said a case was filed in this connection.
