RAJSHAHI: Motihar Thana Police held two people from city’s East Dashmari area on Thursday in connection with the killing of Workers Party activist Mohammad Ali.

Earlier on Wednesday, he was found critically injured in a drain in the area.

He was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police sources said Mohammad Ali was last found with his friends at the party office.

However, police held Zia and Rafiq, two of his friends in this connection.

Officer-in-Charge of Motihar Thana Alamgir Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
