BNP leader Farrook issued death threat

DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Publicity Secretary Zainal Abdin Farrook alleged he was issued a death threat through mobile phone from Friday.

He, confirming the matter to banglanews, said he filed a general diary with Senbagh Police Station of Noakhali on Saturday.

Officer-in-charge of the thana M Mominul Haque also confirmed the matter.

Police tracked the location of the mobile phone user.

The BNP leader said the Awami League leaders might be doing this as he made a disclosure against the incumbent government.

The former lawmaker said came up this disclosure as the administration resisted them to arrange an iftar party in a local auditorium.
