Khaleda greets nation on Eid

DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia on Sunday greeted nation and Muslim community across the world on the occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr.

“The Eid-Ul-Fitr is the biggest festival of the Muslim community across the world and the festival takes place the greatest gathering and brings the scenes of fervent wishes to each other,” she said.

The BNP chief came up with the greeting in her massage on the occasion of holy Eid-Ul-Fitr, and greeted all Muslims of Bangladesh and elsewhere of the world.

In her massage, Khaleda said, “Eid brings the message of ecstatic joy after the month long fasting of Ramadan, which comes to make Muslims’ personal life nice, perfect and restrained.”

She added: “The festival brings people from all walks of life of poor-rich and elite-lower in a line.”

 The former prime minister of the country also said, “The Eid-Ul-Fitr festival gives divine peace and scenes of harmony to the human minds. For this reason, all Muslim men and women will have to celebrate it in a bonding of goodwill together.”

She said, “Being inspired by Eid, it’s our duties to extend the helping and kind hands to the poor, neglected, deprived and under privileged people of the society.”

Khaleda, in her massage, wished happiness, peace, progression, and prosperity for the Muslim Ummah.

Meanwhile, BNP acting secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam issued another massage greeting the country’s Muslim on the occasion of the holy Eid-Ul-Fitr.
