DHAKA: LGRD Minister, also ruling Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam denied any chances of violence in BNP’s next movement.

In this circumstance, his party leaders and activists are busy with the planning of 15 August, National Mourning Day, he said.

The minister made the remarks while exchanging greetings with the journalists at his secretariat office on Thursday noon, the first day after Eid vacation.

Syed Ashraf said “BNP has announced to hold a peaceful movement. I believe they will do so.”

The government will cooperate with any kind of peaceful movement, he added.

At that time the minister also exchanged Eid greetings with the secretariat officials.
