DHAKA: BNP education affairs secretary, also former DUCSU general secretary, Khairul Kabir Khokon is likely to become the next president of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal (JD), confirmed sources of the party.

Either former student leader Kamruzzaman Ratan or incumbent JD general secretary (GS) Saiful Islam Nirab will be the next GS, but Ratan’s possibility is more than that of Nirab as majority of BNP are in his favor, the sources added.

According to the sources, full committee of the JD will be finalized anytime by Saturday.
