DHAKA: World humanity must be united in stopping Israel’s heinous attacks on Palestine, commented Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah.

He said on Saturday while speaking at a human chain program, organized by ‘Swadhinata Forum’ in front of National Press Club in city.

The program was arranged for protesting Israeli massacre and attacks on Palestine.

The BNP leader said that the humanists across the world should be united against Israeli barbarism. Muslim states should also be vocal against the attacks on the innocent people in Palestine.

Expressing his agony, Barrister Rafiqul Islam said that Bangladesh prime minister is also silent regarding the massacre in Palestine.

He also called for a boycott of Israeli products in Bangladesh.

Chaired by ‘Swadhinata Forum’ president Abu Naser Mohammad Rahmatullah, the program was attended by other nationalist leaders including Khairul Kabir Khokon, ABM Mosharraf Hossain, Professor Alamgir Hossain, Alhaj Abul Hossain, Engineer Azizul Islam and Ilias Ahmed Babul.
