DHAKA: Awami League (AL) and its associate organizations have set their programs to observe the bereavement month of August.

Bangladesh Krishak League arranged a discussion and blood donation program at Bangabandhu Bhaban in city on Sunday afternoon.

On August 5, AL will pay homage and arrange milad and doa mahfil at 8:00am on Sheikh Kamal’s birthday. On the same day, AL will arrange another milad and doa mahfil at 11:00am at Bangabandhu Bhaban.

On August 8, AL and its alliances will pay homage to Fazilatunnesa Mujib in Banani graveyard at 8:30am on her birthday.

A doa mahfil and discussion will also be held at AL central office on Bangabandhu Avenue after Asar prayer.

On August 9, Bangladesh Chhattra League will arrange a discussion on Dhaka University campus at 4:00pm on the occasions of Fazilatunnesa Mujib and Sheikh Kamal’s birthdays.

On August 11, Bangladesh Swechhasebak League will organize a discussion in Krishibid Institution auditorium in city’s Khamar Bari area at 4:00pm.

On August 12, Juba League will arrange a discussion at 4:00pm.

On August 15, Bangladesh Mahila Awami League will organize milad and doa mahfil at Bangabandhu Bhaban after the Asar prayer.

On August 16, AL will arrange a discussion meeting at Bangabandhu International Convention Center at 4:00pm.

On August 17, Dhaka City Awami League will organize a discussion at its central office on Bangabandhu Avenue at 4:00pm.

On August 18, Jatiya Sramik League will arrange a discussion at 4:00pm.

On August 19, Awami Ainjibi Parishad will arrange a discussion at Supreme Court Bar Association auditorium at 4:00pm.

On August 20, Bangabandhu Krishibid Parishad will organize a discussion in Krishibid Institution auditorium at 4:00pm.

On August 21, AL will pay homage at temporarily established Shaheed Bedi in front of its central office on Bangabandhu Avenue at 4:00pm.

On August 23, Jubo Mahila League will arrange a discussion in the same place at 4:00pm.

On August 25, Tanti League will observe the death anniversary of leader Ivy Rahman at its central office on Bangabandhu Avenue at 4:00pm.

On August 26, Dhaka City Awami League will arrange a discussion on Dhaka Medical College and Hospital Campus at 4:00pm.

On august 31, Bangladesh Chhatra League will arrange a discussion at 4:00pm.
