DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Monday observed that the government does not have any achievement but crossfire and encounter.

The spokesperson for the party came up with the assertion in a press conference at BNP central office in city’s Nayapaltan.

Criticizing the Awami League-led government as crime-prone, he said the state would lose its liveliness if the AL holds power for long.

The government has been trying to make the media as their “propaganda machine” so, they are trying to impede the press freedom.

AL leader Hasina made the 15th amendment for being in power.

BNP youth affairs secretary Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and education affairs secretary Khairul Kobir Khokon, among others were present in the conference.
